Empower, Recover, Thrive

Recovery doesn’t follow a straight line. It’s made up of small wins, difficult days, fresh starts and moments of real progress. At Mosaic, we celebrate every success, no matter how big or small, because each step forward is worth recognising.

In the Spotlight: Mosaic on ITV

ITV visited Mosaic as part of coverage on the UK Government’s Keep Britain Working Review, exploring the real barriers people face when returning to work.

At Mosaic, our community supports people living with mental health challenges to rebuild confidence, reconnect with purpose, and take meaningful steps towards employment and education.

Watch the clip to see how a community-led approach is making a difference.

Making employment feel possible

Our Employment Dinners bring members together to share their journeys into work, helping others see what’s possible.

Hearing directly from peers builds confidence, inspires action, and shows that employment is about more than income, it’s about purpose, independence and self-belief.

A different path in a moment of crisis

Marcus chose Mosaic’s Evening Sanctuary instead of going to A&E, and it changed his experience.

In moments of distress, it offers a safe, calm space for support and connection when it’s needed most. Each visit not only supports recovery but also helps reduce pressure on emergency services, saving the NHS around £900 per visit.

Lived experience leading the way

Members like Marylee are sharing their experiences beyond Mosaic, taking part in training, contributing to wider conversations, and influencing how mental health support is delivered.

This is what co-production looks like in action: people with lived experience shaping systems, not just accessing them.

From challenge to impact

Our incredible team took on the London Marathon on Sunday 26th April 2026, raising over £9,500 for Mosaic.

Every mile is helping people in Lambeth rebuild confidence, find connection and take steps forward in their mental health journey.

Formation Architects:
Charity of the Year

We’re thrilled to have been chosen as Charity of the Year by Formation Architects.

The partnership began after a presentation from our fundraising team and Mosaic member Chenique, sharing the impact of our work with their whole team.

Since then, they’ve supported us through fundraising, challenge events and pro-bono design expertise, helping strengthen our community and future plans.

From member to guide

Since joining Mosaic in 2016, Maria has grown in confidence, skills and purpose, and has been supported every step of the way by the community around her.

Now part of the Information Hub team, she leads tours for new visitors, sharing her experience and helping others take their first step.

It’s peer support in action; members supporting members, and showing what’s possible.
