Skills, confidence and real opportunities

At Mosaic, the path to recovery includes building the skills and confidence needed to move forward in life. Through our Employment & Education support, members can explore learning, opportunities, prepare for work and take practical steps towards greater independence.

Support is flexible and person-centred, helping members progress at a pace that works for them.

Practical job-seeking support

Members can access focused support to develop the tools needed for employment, including:

  • CV writing, job applications and interview preparation

  • one-to-one sessions to identify strengths and career goals

  • building confidence for workplace environments

  • accessing employment opportunities through our partner organisations

This structured support helps members feel more prepared and motivated to take next steps.

Learning and training

Members can take part in a range of learning opportunities both at Mosaic and with external partners. These include:

  • short courses and skill-building workshops

  • member-led sessions

  • digital and creative learning

  • accredited and community education programmes

We work with partners such as Morley College to help members access wider training and education pathways.

Transitional Employment Placements

For members who feel ready, Transitional Employment Placements (TEPs) offer part-time, paid work experience with local employers.

These placements help members:

  • rebuild routine and confidence

  • gain recent work experience

  • develop workplace skills

  • prepare for long-term employment

Mosaic provides ongoing support throughout the placement.

We are always on the look out for brilliant businesses to partner with. Could your organisation be a good fit for a TEP?

Contact our Employment & Education Team to explore how you could support our members’ return to work.
