I still remember my first day at Mosaic Clubhouse. I was nervous and unsure of what to expect. But from the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with kindness and understanding that made me realise I wasn't truly alone.

Have you ever felt like you were navigating life on your own, unsure where to turn next? I know I have. I have faced illness that led me to where I am today. It was a very dark and difficult time. I didn't have the right professional support that I needed, and I found myself lost, making choices that weren't helping me move forward.

I struggled to find purpose and often felt hopeless. It felt like I was just repeating in my head that there was no way out. Finding Mosaic Clubhouse came during one of the darkest periods of my life. I was referred to Mosaic, and I honestly thank them every day for that decision.

I started attending Mosaic regularly, and slowly, things began to change. They helped me regain my confidence and reminded me that I had value and potential. I became part of a community that I genuinely think I thrive in. The people I have met here are some of the kindest and most supportive individuals I have ever come across.

I am part of the Employment and Education Unit, where I help with their fortnightly newsletters, take photographs, and assist with producing videos. Coming from a creative background, this has given me a renewed sense of purpose. It has allowed me to use my skills in a meaningful way while continuing to grow both personally and professionally.

Mosaic has helped me become the best version of myself that I can be. It has prepared me to rejoin the workforce with greater confidence and has shown me the importance of belonging to a community that believes in you, even when you struggle to believe in yourself.

I hope that anyone who may be struggling knows that seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness. Recovery isn't always a straight path, but having the right people around you can make all the difference. For me, Mosaic Clubhouse has been more than just a place of support, it has been a place of hope, purpose, and new beginnings.
