Shane Carmichael

INTERIM CHAIR

Shane joined the Mosaic Clubhouse board of trustees in 2023. Shane’s background is in the regulation, leadership and development of health and care systems. Having spent 20 years in leadership roles at Accenture and the General Medical Council, he is now very proud to be part of the team at Kaleidoscope Health and Care (a HSJ award-winning social enterprise consultancy).

When not at Kaleidoscope, Shane lectures one day a week at University College London in health and care leadership, strategy, change and quality improvement. Until 2022, he was a Board member of the GB Advisory Board for Safer Gambling and prior to that was a Governor at Sudbourne Primary School. Shane lives with a significant long-term mental health condition and is a regular user of care services across south-east London and as such, he is personally passionate about using his professional skills and lived experience to create opportunities for all those living with poor mental health to realise their potential and live with purpose, dignity and fulfilment.
