Mosaic Clubhouse is an integrated clubhouse and resource centre providing personalised community support for people with mental health problems in Lambeth. Mosaic Clubhouse is a supportive community and opportunity centre, designed to identify and fulfil individual and collective potential.  Members’ work, energy and ideas are needed to make the Clubhouse function. Clubhouse members actively participate in decision-making and in all operational and administrative functions of the Clubhouse, and the services it provides to members and visitors to the centre.

 


Recovery Support Worker  – Café & Gardens

The post holder is required to work full time in Café and Gardens Unit. The post involves the combined role of providing one-to-one recovery support for members and also to contribute to the smooth running of the café and hospitality duties and activities, as well as ensuring that cleaning and gardening tasks are routinely carried out as agreed with the Cafe and Gardens Coordinator/Facilities Coordinator. The post-holder is required to work to the ethos of recovery with the specific role of engaging members and organising the café unit work so that it is accessible to all members.  At all times the post holder will work in partnership with the members and staff of Mosaic Clubhouse and must promote participation in governance and decision-making.

Salary: £27,200. Closing date for applications 28th May, interviews will be held the week of 3rd June.

Recovery Support Worker – Gardens & Maintenance

The post holder will have a focus on maintaining the gardens, health and safety and the general care taking of the building. They will ensure that all planned maintenance is carried out to a high standard. This is of particular importance in our relationships with other providers who will occupy our building on a sessional basis, and who must comply with our policies. This post will help to ensure that all relevant training takes place, new staff are inducted, and that both staff and members are aware of relevant policies, procedures and maintenance schedules. At all times, the post holder will work in partnership with the members and staff of Mosaic Clubhouse and must promote participation in decision making.

Becoming A Trustee at the Clubhouse


Mosaic Clubhouse is a dynamic mental health charity in Brixton, London. We support people recovering from mental ill health to access work, employment and education alongside other services and support they may need. We are now commissioned to provide an exciting new and expanded service that will start later in the year. The Board of Trustees identified in their succession plan the following gaps in skills or experience to help govern our charity and support our expansion plan. We now hope to recruit people who have recent experience and skills in:

  • Fundraising
  • Communication and marketing
  • Finance
  • Information and technology
  • Catering and hospitality management
  • HR
  • Legal
