Mosaic Clubhouse is an integrated clubhouse and resource centre providing personalised community support for people with mental health problems in Lambeth. Mosaic Clubhouse is a supportive community and opportunity centre, designed to identify and fulfil individual and collective potential.  Members’ work, energy and ideas are needed to make the Clubhouse function. Clubhouse members actively participate in decision-making and in all operational and administrative functions of the Clubhouse, and the services it provides to members and visitors to the centre.

Engagement Worker - Employment & Education Unit

 

There is an exciting role open to work in the Employment and Education Unit at Mosaic Clubhouse, which provides members with opportunities to access employment and education opportunities. It also runs the Information Hub, a signposting and referral service aimed primarily at the general public in Lambeth. Engagement workers will support the members of Mosaic Clubhouse house on their recovery journeys by working side-by-side with them and engaging them in the work-ordered day. The work-ordered day of this unit includes the creation of a regular newsletter ('In the Mo'), employment and course bulletins, job skills workshops and other unit task as well as helping members access employment and/or education opportunities.

Essential Criteria: 
-Proven track record of supporting individuals towards successful employment and education.
-Understanding of the challenges faced by people living with mental health issues, in everyday life and in acceessing the labour market.
-Understaning of the needs of people with mental illness issues, relevant legislation and practive guidleines e.g., current mental health legislation and health and safety legislation. 
-Excellent IT skills (we use the database Salesforce)

Employer Engagement Worker - Employment & Education Unit

An exciting oppurtunity to work in the Employment, Education and Information Unit which provides members with opportunities to access employment and education opportunities. The Employer Engagement Worker will be focusing on building relationships with employers to create supported employment opportunities for Clubhouse members. The Employer Engagement Worker will work closely with clubhouse members who are actively looking for work to link them up to supported employment, and independent employment opportunities.

-Background in sales, recruitment or marketing and a confident approach to networking with employers is key.
-Experience supporting individuals towards successful emplyment and understanding of the challenges faced by disadvantaged people in accessing the labour market.
-Ability to raise awareness of the benefits of supported employment through regular presentations to employers and attendance at relevant meetings and events.
-Excellent IT skills, we use the database Salesforce. 
-Target Driven: this role will be key in helping us reach our target of 25 members starting Transitional Employment Placements (TEPs) a year. 

Head of Fundraising

You will be developing and leading on strategy, building expertise across different fundraising channels, as well as leading as part of the senior management team. Responsibilities
- This role is an exciting opportunity to take the next steps in your fundraising career; to lead on fundraising for a small and growing organisation.
- Develop and lead on strategy, building expertise across fundraising channels.
- Produce all bids and submissions on managing partnerships.
- Lead on developing corporate partnerships and co-ordinate any Community fundraising.
- Building relationships internally and externally.

Person Specification
- A demonstrable track record of success in raising funds, particularly from Trusts and Foundations.
- Experience of developing fundraising plans.
- Experience of developing fundraising initiatives from a range of sources.
- Experience of successful relationship building and stewardship of funders.
- A passion for building excellent quality mental health services.

Flexible working, lovely office environment. Option to work from home up to two days per week.
