The Clubhouse community provides a range of services in partnership with members that contribute to their goal of recovery. These include:
Goal Planning
| In addition to in-house and community based work opportunities, Mosaic clubhouse offers a wide array of other member services including; Advocacy, Goal Planning, Housing assistance and on the job training. There are also opportunities for members to represent the Clubhouse at International ICCD Conventions and to become part of the Board of Trustees. Advocacy The support Worker team at Mosaic has developed links with local social service agencies in particular Community Mental Health teams (CHMT’s) to offer members continuality of care. Through the one to one relationships developed within the Clubhouse, the staff team are able to provide advocacy upon requests to assists members’ secure entitled housing, welfare and disability benefits. Clubhouse staff can also accompany a member (upon request) to appointments with specific social services agencies. There is also an informal peer to peer advocacy operating between members who have extensive knowledge of mental health services and volunteer their time to help other Mosaic Members. Both members and staff within the Education & Employment unit have completed benefits training to provide up to date benefits advice.
